Mystery gain pot

The photographs show on the left a small steel gain pot next to a bakelite SD2 gain pot and a larger M83 gain pot.
The diameter of the mystery gain pot is very slightly larger than the SD 2 one, hard to see by eye but it won't screw into a 41 fuze.
I think I got this from Waffy many years ago and I seem to think its been on the forum for ID before.
Does anyone have any ideas what its for?
There are no markings on it apart from some plier marks.
All INERT.
Dave.

Could it be for the German incendiary bomb with the gain pot under the tail or SD1 fuse gain pot.... Dave

What are the exact dimensions SG500?
It looks more like Soviet 82/50mm mortar fuse element :)

Agree with Marek, looks russian.

The gaines on M-50 fuzes can have right or left hand twist, depending if used on a 45mm projectile or 50mm mortar.
