Any of you know what this is please?
Its made by Karlsruhe dated 1906.
My mate Mick has measured it but cannot find any referance and suspects it has not been cut down?

Hey Waff,

Sorry misread there.
I have never heard of any German pre ww1 ammo in 6 cm (that however does not mean much as I'm of limited knowledge). Only thing that comes to mind is a 6,5 cm round for an Austrian mountain gun, that used a smaller casing though.

greetz,

Menno.

I can't find any reference to 60x116R.

Whats the rim diameter waff?

My guess would be that its a cut down necked case of smaller calibre such as 5.3 or 5.7cm.

P.S. there are German 6cm cases but they are either shorter or longer than the dimensions given.
