Mystery projectile - 94 mm

Please assist with this "mystery" projectile. There is no driving band.

Length: 286 mm

Weight: 5 kg

Please ignore the current paint work as it has been repainted.

My guess is that it is a type of smoke or illumination type of round, due to the threaded base.

The last picture looks as if it wide at the base than the front.

Looks like a 3" rocket projectile with the rear missing.
