I finally found some nice steel 88mm cases in Europe and got them to the US. No big deal to find these for Europeans, but a big deal for us in the US. These still have most of their original brass plating intact. None of that Finnish rework stuff for me. However, they have been fired, so they did not quite look right on display - for me. Fired cases no longer have the shoulder due to expansion at the neck. You all know how much I enjoy making tools and "fixing" my ammo. When you have a big press, you have to use it. I love my press. Worth every penny. The photo shows a comparison of one shell before resizing the neck compared to post treatment. This is the first time I tried to make a die out of aluminum. It seems to work well. The only good thing about putting on 50 pounds in the past few years is that I needed every ounce of it to generate the force required.
