New experimental Canadian rifle

Saw this today in the news, a new prototype Canadian rifle being designed by DRDC and Colt. Interesting read and interesting. I would love too see if this carries on or gets dropped. Interesting ammo to, wonder if I will ever get my hands on one of em :wink:

Thanks a bdgreen, that's some good reading and very interesting too. I had never heard of this ammo until today when I read the article. I've heard of the LSAT but never really looked into it. So the question is, anyone have a casing or dummy round?

Incidentally, the grenade launcher aspect is just as interesting, as Colt Canada have been working with Metal Storm USA to use their stacked 40mm grenade system (with a 12-gauge MS insert possible).
