I believe the small mine in the second picture is an C4A1, practice anti personnel mine used by the British a short while back. Not sure on the dates mind. The rubber cover would be removed prior to laying. The top was covered in a green furry material to aid in camouflage. Can't help anymore I'm afraid.

The mine is the drill version of the C3A1 "Elsie" mine. The practice version is the C4A1. Unfortunately the designation of drill mine escapes me. Canadian origin but used by British, Canadian, and American (M25 if memory serves) forces.
