Includes Japanese Type 99, Type 97, MK1 (I think), MK2 (this one must have been in the ground or water as fuze is pitted), Bottom row I think are all French (any info would be great) The lot also included some Japanese machine gun ammo, a large Japanese shell (unknown for what or type), and a Japanese war bond. Any additional info would be great as well as values. You can PM me with values if you don't want to post, as I don't really have an idea of values other than the Japanese items. Thanks.

Hello,
The 2 blue grenades are french DF F1 1915, you have two types, the early is rare (With Billant fuze 1916)!
I'm not sure the green one is french too, I believe it is perhaps russe F1 with french percussion fuze (1915).

The cannon shell looks like a 37mm just measure the dia of the porjectile and you will know. The US WWI era grenade is the best find of the lot to me. They are hard to find even here. And the WWII era MK2 grenade are getting harder to find in original condition. Anyhow great find on all of them.

Yes I would say you did good. The most grenades I have found at one show was 6 for my collections.

The MK1 looks black, around the top looks black but in some bright lights it looks like a very dark reddish color mostly around the base. But it may just be the lighting I was using a bright overhead light to get good pics, and I know the lighting does mess with the colors and I was using an iphone so not the best camera.

Thanks. Black was the factory standard but there was a short time that they were using a burgundy red as practice, talc filled with a live No. 6 Fulminate Detonator. I was curious as to which you had.
