HONOURED MEMBER RIP
A woman on the East Coast woke up from a nap hearing an explosion. she went into the kitchen and found the door of her refrigerator blown off and the kitchen a mess. appears that a container of home made chutney, given to the woman by friend, had detonated. I assume BATF and Homeland Security are investigating. Good thing she did not eat any of the stuff!

The blurb I read9indicated the incident was in US. I find it hard to believe the door was blown off it's hinges, more likely blown open. Just shows how accurate reporting is these days .I have seen fermenting canned goods split open the tin, but that's about the extent of the force.

Accuracy in the media?

Accuracy and truth no longer matter to most in the media, its about selling a product (their news product) and/or promoting a political agenda.

A refrigerator is blown up by canned rhubarb or chutney, sure why not it makes for great headlines, its scary and horrifying for those gullible enough to believe it and it gets the media 15 seconds of glory and attention from us.

Accuracy in media? Nope, no way!
