No.30 Tailpistol Spring

Your right Harry i used the P65 for illustration purposes , but the Striker is the same the early P65 were made from the P30
Reference British bomb and rocket pistols and Fuzes by David Andrews and Alan swan

Hi harry as you can see there are variations of even these P65 Mk1 the checkering in yours is Diamond shaped and in mine its verticle lines the manufacturers code is SMP dated 9/4? (next bit sectioned) see drawings

Here some pics of the No 28 and No 30 I've got, they both have straight springs, both are marked SMP.The No 28 is the Mk II, dated 3-40. The No 30 is Mk IV. I know these are the original springs because I removed them myself out of the bombs.
