Nice looking grenade with all the original features. I am sure someone this side of the pond can assist with a filler plug, nice find.

A nice find anywhere, with original paintwork and a nice patina. I wonder how it crossed the Pacific? A GI bring-back in 1945 I would suspect, but can't think where US and Australian forces might have met up.

US and Australian forces fought alongside in many places throughout the South Pacific in WW2, and many US forces were based in Australia.
