This tail pistol is recovered by RSP of the 1000 lbs GP bomb found in Sarajevo on 28th of June 2014. Bomb from which fuse is removed is found approximately 700 meters north-east from the place where were marshaling yards Alipasin Most, or target designated as M/Y Sarajevo/West during WWII. Following historic reports this fuse could be used during bombing raids by RAF 205. Bomber group within Mediterranean Alie Strategic Air Force (MASAF) which bombed Sarajevo in 5 missions on: 04, 05., 07., 18.11.1944, and 19.12.1944. I couldn't find any data about specific squadrons which took part in the raids. Fuse is stamped No30 IV (picture of a palm tree) 42.

Thanks for sharing this Al' Saad. It might be a palm tree, but it also might be a (road) sign post manufacturer's mark, but I don't know which manufacturer.

I would appreciate any info or hint for a book about British ordnance stamps from WWII period. I encounter British ordnance that was issued to Tito's partisans during WWII but can not get any more info on it except simple ID.
