No69 grenade body thread ?

Hello.
Could anyone please confirm if the main body joint on a British No69 Grenade is conventional or left hand thread?

Have a training example here, with the Bakalite internals, but it appears to have been glued together at some time.

I would like to undo the two halves but do not wish to damage the item by trying to unscrew it the wrong way.

Many thanks Pete.

Hi,

if its been glued you will probably bugger it. Why just not leave it as is, particularly if its been done well. I have loads of grens with fillers i cannot remove and if i tried they would be well and truly buggered. Ide leave well alone bud.

The 69's all have normal threads . The best way to try & get it undone is to boil it in water for a while . This won't damage it & may loosen up the sealant. Good luck !
