Hello...
This nose plug has the thread to fit e.g. 3.7inch Mks 1 to 3 AA HE shell.
Any information as to usage, origin, manufacture, etc, gratefully received.

Height is 50mm
Width is 60.7mm
Across thread is 49.2mm
Across flats is 31.4mm

There are no markings at all, which seems strange.
It is made from some kind of aluminium with a strong rubber washer.

2" G.S. Fuze has a tapered seat, this appears not have have one. Devoid of markings - very unusual. Should be a lot closer to 50.8mm. Possibly - male plug, 2" British Standard Conduit.

I have seen these plugs on 105mm How HE projectiles, back in the 1970's
