Hi, here is a smoke/screening grenade l was given some months ago however no information was supplied. Does anyone know country of origin - I've put it down to be Canadian? & could this be for UK trials? ln hope, As ever, RonB.

Ron, the "XM" would suggest to me it may be American in origen.

South African manufacture, I believe they were part of a UK trial but no other details, sorry. Tony.

Purple band means experimental in the UK

Thanks guys, yes it does have that South African appearance. The dark violet band is why l thought it could be trials stock. Cheers all, Ron
