Old cannon

A friend of mine has an old cannon, with the following questions:

-How old is this gun
-Country of origin
-For land of sea use
-What carriage belongs to the gun (Note the fact that the pivoting point is below the centerline)
-Who is CB or GB.

If unknown, who knows a website or organisation that can awnser my questions.

Regards, DJH

Someone in the Ordnance Society would know. See link below:

"Depotman" off BOCN is a member of the Ordnance Society so may be able to help. Try sending him a PM.
Dave.
