Old Yeller Pt2

So, I happened to be on this one website, very very hated amongst quite a few people, browsing and dreaming of the old days when cheap ordnance fell into my lap on a regular basis. Saw an auction titled U.S. 228 Dummy RFX grenade, clicked the view button, and boom, this popped up.

Imagine my confusion and panic as I noticed the buy it now price was $60.00 Needless to say,my right index finger is now sprained due to lightning fast mouse clicking.

Sorry,had to share:tinysmile_hmm_t:

And by the way,,,, ""Oh thank you Gods of inert ordnance and the blessings you bestow.""

You know I saw that and blew right by it thinking it was another castiron piece of junk
That'll teach me for not checking it out oooooouch
nice catch

You know guys,it was kind of a risk. With the way it was listed, ""Vintage WWII Dummy M228 RFX Pineapple Grenade Real""I wasnt sure what the hell was going to happen. I figured a 50/50 chance Id either get the yellow MK2 pictured or a RFX dummy practice,as the ol bait and switch goes. That and the seller was real quiet.

Turned up ok though.

I was just going to post that up.
Has anyone seen one before?
Cool as heck, priced to puke. (for ME anyways)

Back on subject, AWSOME score Lou!

Awww man.Now everyone is gonna know.I was gonna snipe it at the last second. LOL
Naw,will have to leave that one for the rich guys.Seems the way its going they will do to the Ord collecting market the same thing they did muscle car market.Oh well.

And heard through the grapevine Ebays haveing alot of trouble with the outsourced labor. Lots of turnover in the auction complience department, the guys that check the auctions. Seems all they have to do is work for like two weeks and then they have enough money to retire. India dontcha know.

Great find Lou,
just shows that there are still some good deals to be had every now and again.
Best regards Weasel.
