There were many crazy stories and plans during IIWW, but this one was a tremendous success (unlike many others) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1879016/. I did not see this version yet, but 100% certain that I'll like it, here is a good historical summary of it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Mincemeat. The submarine delivering the body, HMS Seraph, was scrapped, but some parts of it are in the Citadel http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/97465-The-Citadel-Charleston-South-Carolina?highlight=Citadel. You also may have seen older films covering this story http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/101231-The-man-who-never-was-(1956)?highlight=Citadel

Sorry, just saw another post covering this film. I just came back from SLICS and still am dizzy from seeing that much ammo.

I saw it at the cinema last week. It's a pretty slow film. No real action but it gets more interesting and fun when the Spanish have the body to deal with. It's hard to compare with the original film, 'The man who never was', but it benefits from having much more real information about the plot. When they made the first film in the 1950's it was still secret.
