Original head for 37 mm Bofors M/98?

Shown is a Swedish Bofors M/98, as in most cases you see many re-use stamps. My question: is the head shown an original item, like a cap for use of this round for salute purposes?

Is it possible this case, after being reloaded more than once, was converted into an inert training or gun function cartridge?
