Original M30?

I bought this last year as "COMPLETELY ORIGINAL..." I realize (from this forum actually) that with safety clip, designation would no longer be M30, but M62. Was the clip added by mistake? Then I got to thinking I don't ever-remember seeing practice marked M62. In fact, I've not seen many practice lemons marked at all, & most were designation only, no date/lot info, We're ALL original M30's &M62's marked from factory? I hope I'm not rehashing previously discussed material, I've checked the WELL DISCUSSED threads on lemons in general, but can't find this particular info. image.jpg

looks OK to me.

From what I understand the M30 is the early one and the M62 is the later one. The only difference would be the addition of the safety clip which would make it a M62.

I am sure someone smarter than me will correct if I am wrong.

I have a M30 and a "fake" body that was painted green (fake has RFX 54 on it.)

just my 2 cents.
