Original or Repro Pineapple???

G'day Fellas, got offered a pineapple prac grenade, however want to hear feedback from more experienced collectors. I am not 100% confident it is original, however I know very little about them. Would greatly appreciate some advise.DSC00054-2.jpgDSC00056-2.jpgDSC00051-2.jpgDSC00052.jpg
 
Most likely a fake, as the fuze on looks like a modern (M228 ?) type.
My guess it's thread is 5/8 x 11 tpi while the MkII has a 9/16 x 12 tpi thread.
 
Like orpheus says, doesn't quite look right. The fuze threads would help determine. And, a "practice" grenade would have a hole in the bottom. And, no apparent casting mark ID. Maybe a VC homemade copy, to put some lipstick on it. Depending on the price, I'd pass.
