Paint color for M24 Grenades

I am restoring a M24 grenade can, which was full of rust holes that I repaired. I can't find the right paint, to match the original M24 cans that I have. I was told to use "German WWII FELDGRAU DUNKEL (Dark Fieldgray)", which comes close, but is still not dark enough. What paint and color is suggested to match as closely as possible the originals. Any help would be appreciated.
 
I just tried Testors Model Master FS 34079 Dark Green for a German 75mm HEAT shell I am restoring. This color is close but still a little too light.
