Part of a bomb fuze? Metal detecting find

Hi,

Past summer I found this round part in a WW2 battlefield area. I could not get an ID on it.
Today I came across a dealer selling a replica Crabtree discharger. It reminded me of the part I found past summer.

I can see it's not a Crabtree discharger but it might be related or bomb fuze related?

Maybe someone here can recognize and ID it?

That looks like part of an igniferous artillery time fuze.
 
Hi

It was found in Belgium.
Where British troops fought German troops in september 1944.

The place is littered with a lot of 25pdr fuze parts.

Morning. A bit tricky to see from the images. Is the item tarnished brass (or other non ferrous metal) or is it rusty iron? All the best. A
