Passing of Peter Wyschnja "ozziammo"

After a 5-year battle with cancer, Peter Wyschnja (or "ozziammo" as he was known here) of Port Lincoln in South Australia has passed away aged 63.
Peter was for many years a very keen ordnance collector and probably had the largest, most comprehensive and diverse collection in Australia. He was a stalwart of the Australian Cartridge Collector's Association and was the long-time National Legislation Officer. They really don't come any bigger in ordnance collecting in Australia than Peter! He had many other interests and is survived by his wife Kathy and their very spoilt cat.

Peter passed away on his 63rd birthday. His funeral service will be held this coming Friday. It is expected to be a very large funeral with mourners coming from hundreds of kilometres...such is the respect for him. I have known Peter for 35 years, never heard him utter a bad word for anyone. I expect that every day that he woke up he was thinking about his next acquisition or project...he was the Collectors collector.
In his final days, he was still trying to find components to complete various items in his collection. He said that his collecting gave him an extra six months.
