I found a 2 Pdr. projectile with a solid brass insert, it has a double ogive. Does anyboy know what ti is?

I seem to remember that projectile showing up somewhere on another Forum? Wasn't it decided that it was a "shop special" made up as a conversation piece or simply for display?

Yes - I also seem to remember seeing that projectile also - I think it was on this site BOCN and was generally agreed to be a Frankenstein Head i.e. a made up head which does not exist or thats what I recall the experts thought. WF

I agree with everyone that the Brass nose is a special turned up lump of brass to finish it off-projectile body looks to be in very good condition.
