Anyone know how to get the plug out of the bottom of the rocket motor for the PG-9 ? (the part that clips in to the launch booster cartridge)
I have an INERT PG-9 rocket, Czech. In very good condition, right through to the VP-9 Piezo electric fuze. The round is complete, I just like to strip them down.

These parts are connected with plastic ring, inserted into nozzle inner grove (it plays also role as a forcing element). The only way is to pull connecting element up to destroying the ring.

you can see that the fins are atached to a ring which is screwed onto the nozzle. If you unscrew the ring from the nozzle, the plug could be removed by pushing it forward.

Thanks Hazord, I will give it a go over the weekend, tried it by hand, much too tight!!
