Im sure one of our experts will identify it i can say its German ( picture3 shows waffenampt stamps) and a popular calibre was 37M/M

It is a 3.7cm Pzgr. (b). for the 3.7cm Pak.
b = bungsgescho for practice projectile.

It should have a dummy 5103 base fuse but I don't know what has been put in it's place.

You guys are great! I just never saw a german eagel with the wing shaped like that. What is the meaning of the inscriptions on the base?
Do you have a picture of the weapon?

Some pictures of the 3.7cm Pak.
I hope they are of help.

Hi,

It is a 3.7cm Pzgr. (b). for the 3.7cm Pak.
b = bungsgescho for practice projectile.

But where you see b stamp on this projectile?
I think it's normal AP projectile, with "something" not oryginal on base - just another "military art" on desk.

My 3,7cm bungsgescho have UB stamp, and fuze imitation - with tracer.

Regards.

You may can be right. Anyway there is another side which we cant see.

Hello Mariusz
You have posted a very good question. The evidence for the b projectile is not based on the b stamp or lack of in this example.

You will notice that the first 3 projectiles all have one thing in common. That is 3 waffenamt stamps on the main projectile body. Normal pzgr projectiles are of a hardened metal and therefore the stamps are on the drive band or below. The b was a soft metal projectile and the waffenamts were stamped on the main body.

It may be just coincidence but also all the b projectiles I have seen to date have been fired.
