This item is being offered as a 90 mm. That's all information I have.

Your thoughts please.11407124_10203106020410410_7815096929962764710_n[1].jpg

Has this been manufacture as a replica or can it be a legitimate factory round ?

It could possibly be a Oto Melara 76mm case with home made projectile. There is no driving band on the projectile.

76x636R case?

Actually that case looks like a 76mm M26 case for the Super Sherman. It is straight. The Otto Melara cases are tapered.

It could be a tapered case. The picture is not taken square on to the case so it may be misleading.

The crimp is typical of the Oto Melara rounds that I have seen. It is a mechanically loaded shell so the crimp is fairly heavy.

All the Sherman shells I have seen have several small indentations around the shell, not one continuous ring crimp.

What are the dimensions of the Sherman case?

Looks like a 76 mm M26 indeed, which happens to have a 90 mm rim ;-).
