Hello, Item passed down through hubby's family and found while clearing loft.
Would love to know what it is and is it sell-able as we don't want it. It is 24cm long 5cm wide, screw bit on top. I can provide more photo's and tell you what is written on it if you like. Thanks.

Hi Wurzelbob,
It looks very much to me like a 2" Illuminating Mortar round, their should be a stencil on the other side that looks a bit like a parachute.
A picture of the top bit and the other side would confirm this, Best regards Weasel.
