Pointed 25 Pounder Practice Shot

Hi,
I have a possibiliy of buying one of these, but am unsure of their specific purpose. Were they:
Intended for specific anti-armour fire practice with the 25 Pounder gun?
Or, intended for general live firing practice with a 25 Pounder - like the flat headed practice shots for the 2pdr, 6pdr, 17pdr, etc?

Why do you think it is a practice projectile and not a service AP projectile?

Are there any markings or stampings indicating practice?

From the picture I've seen it appears to be marked 25 PR I.T. over a P on the base. I assumed the P meant it was a practice projectile?
