Picked this up at Pudsey yesterday. Polish RG-42 type practice grenade. Four holes in the top of the body. Also there is that interesting device which screw into the base.

yes this device could be used repeatetly for practice. Also, mine is/has written CRG-42 and it isn't Polich, it is Czech. It is the exact same piece as is shown in the first pictures. Here is Erhard's web site which shows you what goes into the bottom of those grenades:
