Hi

ST - Starachowice factory [Fabryka Uzbrojenia i Amunicji w Starachowicach]
10 - lot number
39 - 1939
D - brass from [Schweizerische Metallwerke Dornach] - (99%)

P1 - officer stamps

40 wz 36 - 40 mm wzr [mark] 1936

I have not seen yet such a cartridge. Only blank projectile and brass for training [photo in attachments].

Case is fired, meybe someone has made a wooden shell of another production?

Please zoom photo on the neck of case and projectile.

Thanks

Hi as requested pictures of the head and joint ,the wooden head is fixed by 4 brass rivets .This came from a reliable source and at a reasonable price ,saying that it could have been put together along time ago by someone who couldnt find a projectile ,regards Dave
