I am looking for some information on the POMZ-2 training mine ...

Is there a seperate Nomenclature for the training mine? Does anyone have any images and information on it? What fuzes does it use (does it use regular fuzes)?

Anything anyone has would be good. I even checked Lex site and there is nothing on a training mine.

Thanks,

Joe

Ivan,

So there is no special nomenclature ... like the Yugoslav mines use the VPMR-2 for the training version of the PMR-2 mine, for Soviet training versions? Do they mark them special?

Yes, practice POMZ-2 call UI-POMZ-2 (учебно-имитационная), but difference between practice and not practice mine - smoke charge or TNT and thats all! It mean, that any POMZ-2 can make practice, if incide will be smoke cgarge :)

I am bringing this thread back to try and get some images of the UI-POMZ-2 training mine, and imahes of the different versions of the POMZ-2 and POMZ-2M.

Thanks .... JOE

Is there a nomenclature for the smoke charge used in these mines? Also does anyone have a real one they can take pictures of?
