Hi all, I would like to know if anyone was able to confirm the below item?

I suspect it is a full cylinder of a vintage RAF electrically intiated fire extingshier.
Most likely to contain Methyl Bromind gas used for fumigation and or fighting fires onboard planes..

Thanks you!

It appears to closely resemble one of the RAF aircraft engine fire extinguishers of the period like the one below used on Beaufort and other aircraft. Unfortunately I have no dimensions for the unit below and do not know if they made multiple sizes.
