In 1964 Britain introduced standardised ordnance colour codes,prior to 1964 they are a nightmare,i will post some of the earlier ones in another post to show what an assortment there was.The colour codes below are used with Land Service Ammunition (LSA) either as overall body colour especially with the drill and practice rounds or as colour bands to indicate type of filling in use
