Post WWII Indian Mk4 .303 chargers

I recently posted Indian MkII chargers. Now I got Indian Mk4 chargers. They are loaded with POF Mk7 1967 rounds. They still have Ѧ with "I" underneath, does it mean they are pre-independance? Pre-1947? They seem to be of higher quality than MkII. That is a bit strange to me, since I'd expect early 1900's stuff to be made under strict British military rules.
