It's amazing how common grenades are in the old Soviet block. A couple of years ago I was talking to a Russian guy who said that neighbours would often use them in disputes with other neighbours indirectly or directly. He'd heard of a few chicken runs that got fragged and in one case a man was severely wounded. He said you could buy F1's and belts of machine gun bullets in the local markets!
