I am currently working on a French shrappnel cartridge for the 40mm m1879 gatling gun. According to the description the shellcase is filled with " poudre MC30". What does this powder look like and what is it's dimensions.
Hi @Minenaz16,
thats very intersting. This is a very fast burning powder and I wonder how this square shape was realized with black powder cake.
Regards,
Bellifortis.
