Practice and Drill 40mm Grenades

Hi All. Heres a couple of new 40mm grens i got recently, The Drill version is one ive not seen before. Its a hollow 1 piece item with no markings except the white DRILL and a white line.
Anyone know the official L nomenclature?

are you reffering to these being 40mm grenades as English made hence an "L"?

i presume the left one is a british gren as it is in british drill colours.
