What is this! Light alloy, 240mm long, with very clear markings:- "CARTRIDGE, 22MM, PRACTICE" "M747 CHARGE 4" "LOT NO. EWC 327". Thanks, Trevor.

It is a 22mm subcaliber practice cartridge for use in the M1 81mm mortar training body.
