Hey guys, a coulple of questions for the group, if i might. The first pic is what appears to be a plastic M30. Anybody have anything on this critter? Secondly I was wondering if if might get some help on a MK2 Practice of mine. As i remember, this was advertised as "sealed cannister" grenade. It looks a little "new" to me, but maybe it might, I did remove what appeared to be not the first time, but having never "cracked open a fresh" one before,........ Anyway, do ya'll think this a legit MKII practice grenade?

For the record, BOCN is absolutly the BEST!!! Y'ALL ROCK!
On a darker note, it has also turned a hobby into an (as i am frequently reminded) obsession!

THANX GUYS & HOPE Y'ALL HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS & GOOD FORTUNE IN '13

got ahead of myself in orignal post, suppose i should have asked "is this a legit MKII or M21?"

A bit out of my interest but, I thought MkII practice grenades didn't have the threaded hole in the bottom, maybe wrong. Why have a thread in a grenade that you will never seal? Maybe an early MKII HE body?

Some MKII Practice grenades were nothing more than converted HE bodies. I have at least 1 that is yellow under the blue.

As for that being a "sealed" can. If it was an unopened can you would still have a live igniter and a cloth bag with black powder in it. It's legit and with the M205 fuze on it I would say that it's an M21 practice Grenade.

Thanks Eodtek, I didn't know what to think about it with the spoon having no marking at all. It is an eyechatcher though. Couldn't make out the markings on body. On opposite sides there appears to be stamped marks ( #, letters ?) on all 5 segments on that row. Never seen anything like that in my research. Thanks guys!!
