PRB 104 and 103

I am looking for information on the Belgium PRB-103 and 104 hand and rifle grenades.

I am working on this EOD publication and need some real images of the grenade with and without the fins. Some of the Fuze would be good too.

I am also looking for the differences. I know per Lex's site that the rifle grenade weighs different, but are there any other differences between the two models.

Thanks a million,

Joe

Joe,

The PRB 103 and PRB 104 are the rifle-grenade models for the PRB NR7 and PRB NR8 handgrenades by screwing on a tailsection.

The only known difference (to me) is the addition of the frag-coil on the NR8 and PRB104, and the PRB104 had a propelling charge in the tail-part (the PRB103 had not), as it was heavier (frag coil weights 188 g) than the PRB103

They were issued with 2 models of fuze in the Belgian army: the PRB433 and the ontstekingsstop M50.

I cant help with pictures from the complete nade, as I do not own one, but I do have the frag-coil, which is the same as used on the PRB413 AP-mine.

Geert.
