Pre 1902 ammo help please

Hi,
Can any one point me in the right direction (web, books or CD's ) for info on pre 1902 303 ammo, ball, short range,proof,blanks and dummy rounds, Head stamps, were made, ect please?

I know not an easy one but I'm shore that some one can help out.

For details of the ammo itself, you can do no better than Peter Labbett & Feddy Mead's book ".303", but it is out of print and expensive if you find a copy.

For headstamps, my book "Headstamps and Markings on .303 British Service Ammunition" covers pretty well everything. PM me for details.

If you have any specific questions, post them here and we wil do our best to answer them.
