pre-WW I artillery shell, French?

Here is a pre-WW I artillery shell, I think it is French, but Im not sure so I came here. The length of the case is 379mm, the base (not the rim) is 45mm and the rotating bands are about 48mm, the height of the projectile is 153 without the fuze that is missing.
As you can see, it had been a lamp at one time, and was disassembled. Any information would be appreciated, what it actually is, country of origin, maker, gun or guns it went to.
Thanks in advance.

Great info! Thanks! I'm happy I got the country right this time! With the double stamping, I would guess it had beeen reloaded?
