Hi,
Whilst not specifically an ammunition collector, I am currently suffering from a hankering for examples of 17pr and 6pr 7cwt AP cases with a possible long-term view to adding projectiles to them. With the War & Peace, Military Odyssey, etc. campaigning season almost upon us, what would be fair prices for reasonably tidy WWII dated examples? I was offered a 6pr 7cwt case on Monday for 20, but it had a damaged neck and lacked a primer so I declined.

I do not know about the UK but over here (Netherlands) both are common. I would say 20 Euro for a good condition 6 pounder and 25-30 Euro for a good condition 17 pounder. No reason to buy a not good condition case.
