Hi. I've found some new primer manufacturers that I'd like to identify. Thanks for your help.

I found it. Did they produce bar-fitters and beer-engine ? I can't find any data on their conversion to fuze production, but I think it might be. Thanks.

Gaskell & Chambers

From the Birmingham History Forum:

"In 1939 Gaskell & Chambers . . . armament production for the war effort, making [components for] mine detectors, fuses for the Anti "U" boat campaign and ammunition boxes."

They also made items like 'Half Gill Spirit Measure' cups for the Air Ministry/RAF. :)

My reference was on a No 400 fuze made in 1942. I cannot find where it was listed or photographed.
