As long as politicians can make the population believe that forbidding collecting of inert ammo and /or (deactivated) weapons is the solution against terrorism...
As the saying goes: when the sheep are dead, it;'s easier to kill the chained dog than to hunt the wolf in the forrest.

And as we all know, politicians prefer shamsolutions over propper solutions.
One can safely conclude the terrorists have won another round; another part of freedom lost...not for them, but for us.

Perhaps one of the BOCN Administrators could post something on this in the Forum: News & Announcements section. Hopefully that would bring this to the attention of more people.

Signed, Why do all politicians think that penalizing honest law abiding citizens will stop criminals/ terrorists.

signed,
How can they penalise harmless legal collectors, due to the unconnected actions of others?
Would our Government really sign up to this?

This will also affect deactivated weapons. They want to move even deactivated semi and full auto weapons into the prohibited category.

if all the countries sign up to something related to this Tim, our Government will enact it to the letter even if other countries don't. They banned handguns don't forget - that affected a large number of totally genuine shooters & collectors because of a relatively few criminal incidents. And its just as easy now for the criminally intent to obtain handguns.

You have that right. British politicians would personally shine Juncker's shoes if it was brought into EU law.
