Gentlemen, I have a friend that has what appears to be a PTTF Firing Device, but we can't find it in any publications. Was hoping I could find assistance here.

What's the diameter . It looks to me like the pyrotechnical self destruct ring of a Russian M1939 37 mm HE shell
 
pzgr40, Diameter is around 2.25"-2.5" or about 57-63mm. Thickness of the two halves put together is about 3/4" or 20mm. Fits in the metal ring shown. Top photo has a inch ruler for comparison. Thanks, Bruce.
