This is overdue and I apologise for that.
A while back I sent out a plaintive plea for someone with a lathe to make a pin that I could attach to a key for my Hotchkiss gun. Anyway Charlie rose to the occasion and produced two of slightly different diameters. It was wise on his part because the one that he made to my specs hung up about 1/2" in, the other worked like a charm.
I cut off the wrong-sized pin on the key, drilled and tapped it and there you go.
I need to do a bit more file work to make the seating flush, insert a catch pin and paint it but that's the easy part.
