Does anybody know the meaning of the attached symbol in picture 441a2.jpg which can be found on a Canadian shell, picture 441a.jpg ?

"FPS" was the WW2 code for F.Parramore & Sons Ltd of Sheffield so I presume this was the same company. I am not sure why there should be two makers marks on this round, unless FPs were the filler and this seems unlikely.

I will check the list of filling factories.
