Hello,

Does anybody know the meaning of the following letters in the attached picture?

FL?
Sb?
RB(in circle)

Thanks,

Jef

I have had a case with this primer before. I was told by EOD on another forum that it stands for "Feuerwerkslaboratorium Siegburg".

Sorry I can't help you on the RB.

That referrs to the markings in the lower part (the manufacturer, here the federal ordnance works in Siegburg). Alpini must have told that before I think.

The "Schlagzdschr. 14" is the abbreviation of "Schlagzndschraube 14" what means "percussion primer M14".
